I needed copies of my child’s birth certificate which I paid for and requested through vital records. I got an e mail from vital records that my documents are ready at will call. I left work and went to the health department to pick them up and the doors were locked during business hours. This was 11/4 it was not a holiday. This is very frustrating when you pay for the records and you expect the other end to do their part. Why is it always a hassle to do anything with the state. Please do better!

Conflicting information on the OFFICIAL website is confusing and unprofessional. Do they close at 4:45pm or 5:00pm? Who knows. But “under construction” is not a valid excuse for posting conflicting information regarding hours of operation on their website. Making sure the CORRECT hours of operation are posted is kind of IMPORTANT.
