Architecturally impressive county courthouse building in downtown Terre Haute, Indiana. The building took four years to build, be completed in 1888. The dome reaches a height of 284 feet and there are some great statuary around the building. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Their Records Deputy, Angie, is extremely helpful. This office is very professional, and a good place to go for genealogical requests/research. Not only are they respectful, but they take your requests seriously.
