I'm sure the health dept. has plenty to do ! If your concerned with health the health dept. should go to 1521 S Eufaula Al. Days Inn . We had three rooms booked on the 23rd . Upon arrival my room had not been cleaned from the guest before me . The second non smoking room smelt like an ash tray burnt marks on the tub,in the bed ! pubic hair ,wet circles (sperm) , a dead roach , large burnt holes in the spread greasey spots on the pillows , phones not working , no tv remote , 1 1/2 " hole under door to allow varmits, bed bug bites , another of our rooms had foot prints on the pillow displaying perfect toes with all the above problems as well .How can this place stay open . Tighten up BOH This place is the worst I have ever seen and my room had just been repainted . The MGR seen the pics. before we left . DUMP is a nice term for this place . HEALTH HAZARD !!!

I have nothing but issues with yall. Yesterday I called and told them I'll get done with the wic lesson that night and call today. The lady said " that's fine". Didn't even tell me yall was closed today. And fix the Google hours if you're closed on Saturday now. If I had another department I would go there

Our entire experience today at the Barbour County Health Department was awesome! Heather and Brenda were both absolutely wonderful and caring, plus they’re the sweetest young ladies! All of the nurses were extra attentive and professional, making sure that the COVID vaccine was administered exactly (and painlessly) and followed up by observing us afterwards for any side effects. In addition, they answered all our questions about the vaccine. The young lady at the counter patiently and graciously helped us with the forms that we had to fill out. This is an outstanding health department and would give everyone who helped us 10 STARS if it were possible! ~Jeanne & Joe Lauderdale
