Trashy place if I can help it we will never return to wic. This overweight dietitian told us our daughter is not eating and growing enough. According to who?.... fat america....should we feed my one year old mc donalds? Or feed her what shes comfortable eating and not choking on. All children are different. As you should know seeing all the children you see in this area. Our pediatrician who is great by the way said my daughters growth is PERFECT. Need to hire educated people to work with these kids. Over eating is a well known problem.

This is a story for years ago, but still relevant based on what I've heard recently. Years ago as a 20 year old I went in here for care, and then got told I had a bunch of diseases (which I knew I did not have). A doctor (dark hair, beard) and nurse (old short lady) walks in with a bunch of needles on a cart. The lady says to drop my pants, as she's going to inject me in my butt. I asked why, and they accused me of having XYZ things. A heated argument ensued, during which the nurse walked towards me with the needle, and tried to put the needle in my arm. I had to physically hold her back as I screamed at her and the doctor. She ended up backing off. I asked how the doctor "knew" I had XYZ, and he said he didn't, he just assumed. I told the doctor that since he had already drawn my blood for the care I gone in there for to test it if XYZ existed, and if I did, I'll get treated with whatever, if not, then I'm not. After I left, I found an actual doctor to go see from then on, and had him run tests. I did not have XYZ. Three weeks later the health department called saying I didn't have XYZ. Horrible place, horrible people, making treatments based on assumptions and accusations, and not even performing tests.

Cannot say enough good things about my experience with family/womens health. Recently received full services and everyone from start to finish couldn’t have been more wonderful. I was nervous as I’m used to big private healthcare, but honestly I’ve never had a more positive experience in medicine. Kind, professional, and compassionate. Highly highly recommend.

The secretary on the family planning side was extremely rude to me when I was given the wrong information by my doctor. The doctor said I would have test results in 1 day & treatment within 48hrs if it was needed but the secretary told me it would take 5 days. Upon looking at what test I had done, she said some results should actually be available that day but the rest would take 5 days. It is now 5 days after that and they never even called me with any kind of results. I literally viewed the results myself & got treatment elsewhere in that time period, people! If the secretary wasn't 100% sure, she should have transferred me to someone who was because this is someone's health at stake here and if I had waited for these guys to call me, I would have needed to go to the ER. It is worth mentioning I had good experiences here in the past but when it comes to someone's health, it only takes one giant screw up for that someone to say NOPE.

The lady at the front desk of family planning shares no concern for her patients. I booked a appointment 6 months out and was on my way to the appointment when I called and said I’d be there at 8:55am instead of 8:45 because I woke up late. Hoping she’d understand... She told me that I would have to reschedule when I explained the situation. I told her this was for a pap to see if I have cancer and she told me that she couldn’t help me in any way. I feel that if I would’ve been able to talk to my doctor she would’ve understood because I’m generally about 10-15 min late and they always take about a half hour to get to me. I’ve been going here for two years now and feel the front desk employees are very rude. Mind you this was a 53 min drive and all of my gas money for work for the next week.
