The lady I spoke to in the family court was super rude and talked down to me when I called to see if the other party had been served which the paper says to do before the court hearing. She cut me off and snapped at me without even letting me talk and ask any questions. People who don’t wanna listen and have no patience to deal with the public should not deal with the public I can’t believe I was dealt with that way and all I was doing was following the instructions that were given.

If you're planning to get married, I highly recommend applying in Charleston County instead of Berkeley County. The process was much smoother and more pleasant in Charleston.
