Just had the most awful phone service. I had a simple question, ended up being transferred to 4 different departments, the last being the Environmental Service's Department mail box where I needed to "enter the extension of the person I am trying to reach." No department never gave me a name or number of anyone to contact and when I hung up and tried to call the Health department again, I was automatically disconnected x 3.

Paul Hunt. An ignorant, rude and disrespectful public servant. Living off taxpayers and abusing his power. Belittling the public and imposing his own rules in a public place. Disgraceful.

Got all the vaccines I need today without an appointment. I called yesterday to check. The receptionist is very friendly. She assisted in getting a number for me and guided me kindly where the immunization clinic is. I signed a form. A staff gave me some cards to read about the vaccines then a nurse called me to get my shots. Every vaccine was properly explained. At the end of the process, I got a printed record and dates to guide me about my next appointments. They even verified my parking card. I got all the services I needed today at zero cost! People there are all friendly. ❤️

This place is an incredible gift to the Asheville community and beyond, and I think it might be underutilized. I booked the appointment over the phone for the next day - so quick! You park in the parking garage right next door and bring your parking ticket with you. After your appointment is over, the person at the front desk will validate your ticket so you don't pay a cent to park. Everything was a breeze, and everyone was super kind and knowledgeable. There is a large waiting room for various kinds of appointments, and you are called up by number only. Facilities are clean, they look like new. Everything is very orderly and quite efficient. I got everything I was hoping for at zero cost. They did not even ask me about income or anything - they just needed to see my ID. They have lots of free resources and recommendations for even more free resources. What a gift! If only our whole health care could function this way. Thank you so much to everyone who helped me today! Thank you to Buncombe County for offering this resource.
