For the three years I have lived in Murray I have kept my service dog on a chair next to me while dining out. The last 2 times I tried to dine out I was told dogs were not allowed to be on the chairs. So, I think the Health Dept. must have started enforcing the ADA rules. Nearly all restaurants have food under the table, and the floors become dirty by time lunch is over. I don't want to let my dog get dirty or eat some of the food off the floor. So as a disabled vet. I have to stop dining out. I know its the ADA law, i know it was not enforced until recently. I know abortion was illegal, then legal, and now illegal again. It used to be illegal for women to vote. So maybe if the health dept. feels that humanity is threaten by service dogs on restaurant chairs maybe they should spend some time getting restaurants to clean under the tables prior to seating customers.
