I’m very disappointed with medical transportation. Everytime I call there is a problem they told me…to call 3 days in advance by 2 o’clock. But when you call they always say schedule is already done for the day. Ok so today I called for an appointment for Thursday well before 2, but the lady says schedule is done for Thursday already n we are very busy that day…we will call you back if we can get you in. The lady that does that’s gone to lunch. So are they there to help people get to appointments or are they there to say no…maybe they just don’t like me. Or it makes them feel good to say no. I do have to say the drivers are amazing I’ve actually spoken to a few of them about this issue..they always apologize and honestly most of the time say they’ve had time to kill…also say that I’m one of many that has had this issue. Hopefully they get it together and wanna do their jobs…n help the folks in Cecil county get to and from their appointments…

I went there today for the first time to get a vaccine. Everyone was great, friendly, helpful and really made me feel like they cared. Registration was quick and easy, especially as I was a new patient. Anne was fantastic, full of info and I enjoyed talking to her. All in all a great place to go for medical care.

Was in desperate need of help keep asking to apply for dental assistance , couldn't even apply worker said she just filled out a bunch of applications.... another time needed to see a specialist in Baltimore couldn't get help with medical transportation called several times I was told no because I have a car that I use to get to work 4 miles there and back a day that I need to keep my job, but car wouldn't make it to Baltimore it would overheat plus, I would be unable to drive myself for surgery to Baltimore and back anyway but they keep telling me not eligible for help with medical transportation that I'd have to get rid of my car ... honestly would be scared to get rid of my car and they still wouldn't help. They seem to pick and choose who they want to assist.

This review is directed towards the Medical Transportation Office, which is subdivision of the Health Department. I am on Medicaid, am a Cecil County Resident, and have no vehicle. I was told I qualify for a free medical transport to my specialist. It's a very long story but, right from the get-go, I felt they were very much trying to discourage me from using this service. I was also given contradictory information about the documentation I needed to secure a ride. I did EVERYTHING they asked, was told, BY A SUPERVISOR, that all was good, that she was giving me her word that I would be picked up on the scheduled date. No need to worry, she told me. She then called me back and said, "Well, no. That was wrong. " She then told me that all I needed to was to have my PCP fill out some paperwork and that would be enough. My PCP ALREADY had done this. But then I was told by a clerk, "No, that's not enough. She was wrong." Then why is she a supervisor??? As someone else recently wrote about them, they seem to want to discourage people from using the service, and don't seem to know what they are doing. I have been jerked around by them for two weeks now and have gotten so many different versions of what I need to do to get a ride THAT I QUALITY FOR. I will be following this review up with formal complaint to the Country Executive. They are 100% unprofessional. Terrible agency. And I've been told by others that they have had a similar experience with them. If you have to deal with these people, be prepared for ALOT of headaches.
