I mailed in my car license renal. 6 days later my application and check was returned, no reason given. I called the auditors office because that was where it was sent and that is the envelope my check was returned in. I called and got a recorded message. I now know what button to push for a divorce, court, traffic tickets ,information of arrest warrants, how to speak to a jailer, building dept., animal control. report a barking dog and I'm sure I missed a couple as the guy who was telling me took about 6-7 minute to get all the information I did not need to know. I can only assume the county did not need or want my $108.75. I'll be sure to convey this to the police man who will stop me and when I insist I tried to license my car will mace me for resisting arrest. I'll probably write a check for bail and they won't take that either. I think the asylum is run by the inmates!!! Rev. Bob Synoground

Always expect a long line, long wait, rude civil servants and all the wrong information. Take your lunch and a good book-like "War and Peace" or the whole Encyclopedia Britannica. Right? NOT !!!!!! I ran in, grabbed the right button and got this 3 digit number, almost got sat down and I could not believe it but I was called, I was treated courteously, given the correct paper work and the in's and out's of how to move things quicker, and extra forms that we're going to be needed later. Saved an extra trip and money to a lawyer too !!! It was actually a decent experience compared to some "Clark County" contacts and experiences. 5 star..

If their system goes down, your house simply won’t close. They have one system they rely on for recordings and if there’s an issue, you’re screwed. But don’t worry, they’ll try to get it up and running again. (during regular business hours only) such a joke.

Neither one of your phone numbers work, so how are we supposed to get in contact with you without driving Claire into Vancouver?

It would be nice to know that they actually close at 4 when Google says 4:30. How am I supposed to get a marriage license when I work 9-5 and my long-distance fiancée is only in town for two days? Local government strikes again. Edit: changing my review from 1 to 2 stars as they’ve finally updated the hours on Google. Still very disappointed with the efficiency of service here though. The fact that I still need to wait for an hour even if I already took care of ordering and printing my documents on the computer is wildly inefficient and frustrating. They need to have some sort of express counter for people that just need to get in and out for quick documents.
