Danielle was very helpful in pointing me in the right direction to make sure I could get my son’s shot record. Then she scheduled us an appointment at a time that worked for us, but same day!! She was so sweet and helpful, as are all the workers at the health department

Some of the front desk ladies are a bit rude but overall the process is quick and efficient.

This place is pretty cool. The Community Health Educator really knows his stuff; he is very tall and funny and interesting, too. I will definitely come back if I have more health related questions.

Notes for anybody that's getting their vaccine here. It's a little bit hard to find, even Google wanted me to go to the fun run. Instinctively, somehow, I knew that vaccinations weren't happening at the fun run. If you're following your Google go a little bit farther than they tell you and it's a large brick one story building on the north side of the street. When I walked in for my appointment there's a check in at the front, and they want to know if you have downloaded the mobile check-in app. I had no idea what they were talking about, and neither did a few other people in line with me - so if you can find it make sure you download that app first so they can check you in. At that point they will send you back outside and call you when they are ready for you. You will then stand in a line to fill out your paperwork and double check that everything is correct. From there you will be directed to another room where they will take your information and you will sit and wait until a nurse is ready for you You then go into a third room that is set up very similar to a blood draw. They'll ask you a couple questions and you get a shot in the arm No big deal. And then you have a seating area where you're supposed to wait for 15 minutes before you leave ensuring that you do not have any ill effects from the shot.

Whoever answered the phone for the WIC clinic is very rude. I had an intake and some answers needed more clarification, but the way she went about asking for that info was extremely rude and short. I answered in a way that's usually enough for those 2 questions, but her tone was too much. I've worked in a call center as well as client facing roles and couldn't imagine speaking to someone in that way, let alone someone who is seeking services because they're in need. There was already an echo on the phone so processing what I was telling her was an issue, on top of hearing an incessant and loud clacking every few seconds. I nearly hung up midway thru and scheduled somewhere further from my house. I didn't expect this woman would have taken my constructive criticism well, so I didn't say something to her in the moment. Hopefully my in person visit is much more pleasant.
