My EXPERIENCE, if you want to call it that, was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE, UN-INFORMATIVE, DEPLORABLE, UN- USEFUL, LAUGHABLE, NON- EXISTANCE!!! FIRSTLY, I called up there to CLEBURNE COUNTY, HEFLIN, AL, HEALTH DEPARTMENT, and the phone was answered by some MEXICAN, WHO COULD BARELY SPEAK ENGLISH, see if I could get a Hepatitis C shot because I am on MEDICAID, and was told that I could get the shot there by my doctor's office.

This has to be the most chaotic order I've ever experienced. I was not only called in first for sign in but called last for actually treatment and check in with the nurse who was late. Very perturbed by the lack of consistency and professionalism displayed today! Would never make an appointment here to be instructed to be here 30 minutes early to wait this long!

My EXPERIENCE, if you want to call it that, was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE, UN-INFORMATIVE, DEPLORABLE, UN- USEFUL, LAUGHABLE!!! FIRSTLY, I called up there to CLEBURNE COUNTY HEFLIN, AL, HEALTH DEPARTMENT, and the phone was answered by some MEXICAN woman WHO COULD BARELY SPEAK ENGLISH, you could barely understand her!!! I wanted to see if I could get a Hepatitis B vaccine shot. I explained that I am on MEDICAID, and was told that I could get the shot there by my doctor's office. The MEXICAN lady tells me that they only give the HEPATITIS shot to CHILDREN ages 1-18 who are on Medicaid, and that AL Medicaid will only pay for the children no adults. So I asked her if I could just pay for the vaccine and she told me NO!!! NOW EXPLAIN TO ME WHY THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT OF ALL PLACES WON'T GIVE ADULTS, WHO HAVE MEDICAID FOR THEIR INSURANCE, A HEPATITIS SHOT EVEN IF THEY ARE WILLING TO PAY CASH FOR IT???? And AFTER this happened to me, I went to CVS PHARMACY and I was able to get the shot immediately AND paid for it with my MEDICAID!!!! The Pharmacist said that he had NEVER heard of any NONSENSE like I was told at the Health Department. So this is my reason for giving you a BAD REVIEW!!! YOU REALLY SHOULD HAVE SOMEONE WHO CAN SPEAK PLAIN AND UNDERSTANDABLE ENGLISH AND WHO ALSO KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT!!!
