  Drove all the way from Prescott for this clinic, seeing as they are the only one in the area that is willing to bill insurance for travel immunizations and have them readily available. Front desk was super kind and respectful, answered all my questions. Compared to my local clinic who refused to bill my insurance (even though my plan covers travel inoculations) and the representative I spoke with was totally rude to me on the phone. The nurse was amazing, easy going, entertaining and offered really helpful professional advice for traveling over seas. Really impressed!

  Just because I experienced rude customer service over the phone I felt it was my duty to report this lady because I can't stand when a person who works for public service acts like God over the phone. Last year, I tried to speak with an employee about ordering a corrected birth certificate. This lady (supervisor, so she claims and claims to be the only female in the office) had sent me forms to fill out. I had already sent in my money orders. So I called this office and asked the lady a question about the forms. Then it gets ugly, I told her I had sent in my money orders already. She says no we don't have them. I insisted it had to be there, I had spoken with a lady. She continues to tell me we don't have it. I asked her can I speak with somebody else? The other lady that works there? I'm the only lady here and another employee. I said can I speak with him? She says no I'm here. Well can you ask him to look in folders that might have my name on it? We don't have anything with your name on it. Can I speak with your supervisor? I am the supervisor. Can I speak with somebody else other than you, you aren't very helpful. We can't help you at this office. You can go to Phoenix. That ended our call. So I tried to call the Phoenix office to report her but they couldn't do anything. Here is the sweet part of the story. Guess who calls me three months later? Hi is this Tisha? I have your money orders here. I'm still waiting on your forms. I answer, "you don't remember me do you? I tried to ask you to look for my money order and you accused me of saying that your office doesn't do any illegal activity? I got a huge resounding, "OOoohhhh". I could've lit into her but I didn't. I only do it now because of justice and I made sure I got my certificates in the mail. Record time, imagine that. I never got an apology.

  I went here desperate for rentals assistance because I was close to eviction. Firstly the woman insisted that I receive child support for my child when the father of my child and current partner was sitting right next to me. Secondly, it seemed like the woman didn’t want to help me in anyway. Lastly, she said I made too much money, when my paystubs clearly stated that I didn’t. Never coming here again.

  I would never recommend this place to receive services. They require you to do gymnastics to even get your application submitted. They instruct you to pretend to be going through covid related issues in order to even hear back from anyone. They run out of funds almost immediately, so applying is useless because it'll be weeks before you even receive anything IF you get your application approved. You'd be better off just going to a homeless shelter temporarily because of the snails pace they move or going online and doing it yourself. The people working here have little empathy for your situation and write a lot of checks that they can't cash. Don't ever come here as a last resort because they will let you down. Half the time, they wait until you're already have an eviction/disconnection notice to start taking anything seriously, but by then it's too late. The front office ladies are rude and emotionless. I understand they have a variety of people coming in, but why get into human services if you're that bitter and impatient? They should understand that people are coming to ask for help on their last leg and are consistently being turned away. The social services department is probably one of the most unhelpful departments I've seen. They have a lot of ideas that can't come to fruition.

  I popped in to request a duplicate copy of an official document. Helen was so friendly and helpful! She was at the front desk (through the alternate entrance due to construction), asked about my request and said "awesome! Then I can totally help you." Lol, what? That's amazing! She explained the process, gave me the form that was already highlighted the required fields, even looked over the form to make sure everything was completed. She was so nice and friendly and kind first thing on a Monday morning.
