Great guys. Just know that this location only holds records for the past two years.

Extremely quick service for us on a Wednesday, late morning. Staff was polite and quick. We were in and out in less than 15 minutes. Only reason its 4 instead of 5 stars is its not actually at the listed address. The vital records office is actually in 5530 not 5560 (just one building over), and I believe it was suite #170, just to the right of the main entrance from the courtyard/parking area.

What a beautiful building. Inside and out. Panoramic view of the harbor. Great staff.

Frustrating experience! We were visiting from out of state and needed to get copies of our birth certificates. We went to the 5560 address listed on Google, only to be told the office had moved to 5530. Walked over to 5530 ( the new temporary location) only to be told we could only get birth certificates there if they were " less than 2 years old" and were referred to yet another location. Guess it's on us that we didn't check the website first . We eventually got birth certificates at a San Marcos location because we were heading towards Vista anyway.... The birth certificates cost $34. ( We also ordered a parent's death certificate which cost $26).

The address posted doesn't match the existing photos. The photos posted are photos of the one next to Harbor Drive by the port of San Diego. The photo i posted is the one matching the address.
