Nice new facilities. But these guys did not help with advancing a very simple payment forward on a friday.. They were more worried about doing less work than attending to me before closing. I went in today (5 days later) and the process could have easily been done friday. They just didnt help assist and move to advance the steps needed. Idk wth they were expecting. I came in 18 min prior to close. Said what i needed, and the guy kept checking the clock and did not help. Today, it was busy and i got thru entire process from beginning in under 15 min.. Really let down. These are the guys im supposed to have faith in working with on my journey and they were more concerned with the work load that would have entailed before closing at 4:30 on a friday.

Wish staff could be more flexible. Ensure you arrive 30 mins before lunch, so you could get a service. If you arrive 15 mins before lunch, you won't be able to get a service if you're a new registrar for body art.

After many attempts to get the correct health permit and leaving a number of messages in just going to go here and sort things out. I called and left a message Monday saying I was off Tuesday and Thursday, they called me Wednesday and said they would call the next day never did. I've emailed them about a refund and have heard nothing as well.. pathetic. And they wonder why Americans hate government. Government incompetent employees at their finest.

I really appreciate the help and support staff provided. I went to Plan check at the Department of Environmental Health and Quality in December 2024. One of the staffs called Joy Soria helped me a lot. She is such a nice, respectful and humble and very kind person and explained me how to start the process and documents required. She answered all my questions patiently and guided me the path forward. It was the first time I went to plan check office and I was very impressed with her behavior and communication with every customer including us. She is having a good knowledge on the subject and so she was able to guide us. Some time it is easy to understand things on the phone call but I took a right decision to go to the office and discussed in person which cleared my doubts and answered all questions patiently. Best service! I really appreciate the help and support staff provided. I went to Plan check at the Department of Environmental Health and Quality in January 2025. Mr. Joseph Giel inspector helped me a lot. He is such a respectful and kind person and explained me the paperwork process and documents required. He answered all my questions patiently and his guidance helped me a lot. He spared a good time to me for questions I had though he was busy. He was helping people like us who are very new to start the business. I would say the best people and service at Plan check at the Department of Environmental Health and Quality. Even Jovi was also very helpful. Jovi at the desk direct people to right department and technical officer.
