Is there something going on at this town hall? I've been calling this place for 2 weeks and not a single person picks up the line in any department.

In a word, Tremendous! I needed to renew my Notary Commission and searching for current commissioners via the "book" provided by the Secretary of the Commonwealth's office proved much more difficult than one would expect. Finally, I reached Stephanie Carrara, Assistant Town Clerk, in East Bridgewater. Stephanie was so helpful and pleasant on the phone, I knew I had reached the end of my search! Within minutes, we had a date and time set for my Oath... Upon arrival, a nice gentlemen at a table inside town hall greeted me with a welcoming smile and engaging salutation. He directed me to the town clerk's office. Stephanie and the Principal Clerk, Melissa Blood, provided me with documents to sign, listened to my Oaths to the Commonwealth and the Constitution, gave me a pre-addressed envelope with a signed original for the Secretary 's office, and a copy for my records, or in case a USPS issue occurred during the current holiday season. We spoke for several enjoyable minutes and I noted how pleasant many town employees are every day they do there job. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to East Bridgewater
