I have had to call the ECDOH a couple of times with questions about COVID-19 and recommended procedures. The staff I've spoken with have been unfailingly professional, knowledgeable and polite. I believe their job is very challenging and calls for extreme patience. The staff is superb in my opinion and are to be commended for their hard work. We are fortunate to have them to help us!

Do not go to the olive garden on walden Ave. The floor heating vents are so dirty and disgusting. Talked to manager and she is aware of it but not addressing it. Employees are rude to customers and manager did nothing about it. Health department needs to be called.

So ECHD is worried about chipping paint in our community. But what about the rats in our community? Noone licking paint off houses. But rats are pooping and urinating all over everyone stuff. Did you know breathing in rats poop and pee can cause Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome(hps) A severe respiratory illness caused by inhaling contaminated rat droppings or urine, potentially leading to acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and death. Leptospirosis: A bacterial disease transmitted through contact with infected urine, potentially causing flu-like symptoms, kidney failure, and liver damage. Rat-bite fever: A bacterial infection transmitted through bites or scratches from infected rats, causing fever, headache, and muscle pain. Plague: A serious bacterial infection transmitted by fleas that bite rodents, including rats, leading to fever, chills, and swollen lymph nodes. But this is ok.

I see the negative comments on here and im wondering what people expect from county health services. Most people go there because its the best place they can afford and then treat the people that work there with disrespect and entitlement. You. You get the type of service you actually give. If youre rude, condescending, hateful, and act entitled you will get get treated in like manner. As for the phones never being answered, most clinics are understaffed and expected to do the work of 10 people. Try being nice and respectful and see the change hospitals, clinics, doctors etc start treating you. Or not, and see how little care you get.
