So, annual fees were due on 3/3/25, and I reached there on 3/5/25. The colored hair lady at the desk randomly adds $60.50 charge on my invoice for being a day late. The late charge wasn't even updated electronically on the system. She picked up a paper laying on the side and added the late fees by herself. No explanation on how the late fees she calculated. Then, she also scratched the total amount using a pen on my receipt paper (pic uploaded with review) and told me to write the check more than the amount that was written on the invoice. It is such an unprofessional and pathetic move to collect $60.50 for 1 day. I paid my cigarette dealer license, vendors license, fire department annual fees, and the Lancaster utilities all bills on the same day while I was in the town. None of these 4 government departments had charged me late fees for being 4 days late. I think Health department employees suck compared to other government branches in the county.
