Former Franklin County resident. I have been trying to get assistance for several weeks via phone and email to no avail. The gentleman I spoke with a few weeks ago over the phone told me IF he finds my paperwork he would send it to me (without proper payment and/or avenues) almost as if he were just ushering me off the phone. So, I began my process via email. I begin by giving all pertinent information that I have and what kind of case it was and also offered assistance if any further information was needed. They respond by asking if I was looking for proof of marriage - indicating someone did not read the original request. Such inconvenience in the breakdown of communication for someone who lives outside the county/city.

Court should have been opened an hour ago but voicemail states court is closed. No one answers or returns calls. For over a year Ive had a probate case and every court appearance there's a different magistrate who doesn't know what the last magistrate said. Each magistrate continues the case knowing my sibling admittedly stole my entire inheritance. I have to call for court dates because they dont mail them. I dont know exactly what they do because it doesn't seem like they're doing anything regarding my case.

Subsequent to Covid, this went from being the best Probate Court to the worst in all the counties of the state of Ohio. Don't have a heart attack on the 22nd floor; no one will call an ambulance unless you e-file a form requesting one first, have it rejected a few times for clerical errors, and then wait two weeks for approval after acceptance.

Agents hang up on people whenever a supervisor is requested. They rejected all of my filing and made me refile multiple times, with no explanation for why. I requested a supervisor and was hung up on again. I will be filing a complaint in office asap.

I waited 2 hours on the phone listening to some obscene music to no avail. This court either silences their ringer or ignores calls all day long. I know they don’t care about their rating either but this is just ridiculous other states have probate courts that don’t operate so negligently. I’m beyond irritated. I paid for two documents and receive no response via email of voicemail. I’ve been waiting 3 weeks !
