Every office that I've dealt with over nearly fifty years have had a friendly, professional staff. I've never left the courthouse with any ill feelings from any business visits that I've had there. I've left with empty pockets after paying property taxes several times, but, with no ill feelings. My wife, who grew up in Louisville, couldn't believe the difference in the customer service. Comparing government centers between Garrard and Jefferson Counties after her first visit following our marriage twenty six years ago she said, "No hour long lines and no rude people to deal with. Is it like that all of the time or did I catch a good day?"

Woman who helped us did not care about her job or customer service skills at all. Was happy to chat away with coworkers but eager to get us out of her face. Didn’t ask us to confirm any information for the registration, just printed the papers and will now have to pay to have address corrected

Tried calling this office during posted business hours of operation for 45 minutes and no one answered. All I get is the mailbox is full. Tried Facebook and I guess that was an automated thing. Emailed the county clerk with no reply. I'm elderly and really don't want to get out in the cold. All I had was a quick but important question. If they are closed maybe this should be posted somewhere.b

The ladies working in there are always nice and service is very quick! Thankful to have a nice clerk office to go to. After once living in Atlanta, this is a little bit of heaven on earth!
