Intentionally slow and non helpful. Will not assist if no appointment and will create problems with documents only for you to fix them and they still be "unable to help you". Highly unprofessional workplace. EDIT: Went to another county clerk's office and confirmed that the issue that this facility created was in fact a farce in which they tried to make a family member's will invalid because I was the main beneficiary instead of who they believed it was supposed to be.

I just like sitting here and watching the people lol and talking to the people. But can't sit here cops will make you leave everytime say you are trespassing and if it weren't for the people there wouldn't even be a courthouse. The courthouse belongs to the people, it's not privately owned like cops would like you to believe. Smh clarksburg is a ghost town cops are making sure of that next they will be telling us its illegal to walk down the street!!

One of the coolest courthouse I’ve had the pleasure of walking about the grounds on. In front are two tablets with Roman numerals going I-X representing the Ten Commandments, the original justice and natural law, there is a memorial to the immigrants with a plaque and quote from T. Roosevelt, and a smaller copy of the former Charlottesville Thomas J. “Stonewall” Jackson statue by NY sculptor, Charles Keck. Jackson grew up in Clarksburg (then VA) where the self-made man with a penchant for treating others with respect learned his way. Unfortunately, some knuckle-scrapers clearly defaced the statue(the base), but nevertheless, there is Jackson, still standing like a stonewall. Neat place, though cannot attest to the level of justice given or fairness of the judges, cheers.
