And maybe the dealings I've had with the Marin County Clerk Office is always gone smoothly and has been helpful and then formation I'd needed to get they do a great job at what they do

Unorganized and ran down. To bad all the tax money goes into local politicians pockets. How much does the mayor of Fairmont make these days? 5xs that of a firefighter or police officer?

This office is very disorganized. The assessors and sheriff are lazy and unprofessional. Everytime I call, I get transferred at least 4 different times before just hanging up. Often when I call during business hours, nobody answers at all. This is especially true at the sheriffs office. They feel no inclination to help people and are incredibly rude to those who ask. They act as though the citizens are beneath them. Getting any information from anybody at this courthouse is always like pulling teeth, and nobody seems to know what they are talking about. Nobody wants to do their job.

Magistrate Mark Hayes is very rude and very disrespectful. WARNING TO ALL LANDLORDS in Marion County Mark Hayes is for the renters. He does not feel landlords are entitled to compensation when renters destroy your property. We had pictures of the property that was destroyed, and verified estimates that Mark Hayes would not even acknowledge or look at. He would not listen to our side of the situation at all. I never felt so disrespected as a RETIRED VETERAN in his courtroom. Mark Hayes has definitely lost our vote for 2020.

Very unprofessional and unnecessarily rude. Staff showed clear bias and treated someone poorly for having a different opinion. The whole experience felt unfair and raised serious concerns about how things are handled here. Definitely not what you expect from a courthouse.
