Wow! This place is amazing, got a birth certificate printed in less than 10 minutes; cost $23. Parking was $4 in the garage next door. Kind of a rip off but was not let down by the express service at the bureau.

Came here the other day to get a long form birth certificate. They do have paid parking for the building $4 a day which isn't too bad and is much better than parking on the street. All the staff were helpful and efficient. I would suggest arriving early because I had to wait about 2 hours because of how many people were there. They have forms for birth certificates or death certificates you can fill out at the place on a computer. They have a system of showing you your spot in line by a computer using the last 4 digits of your phone number. For a birth certificate it cost $23 dollars and they take card/ debit and also cash, however if you use a card it has to be in your name the name that's on your ID that you have to provide to get a birth certificate.

I was disappointed by the lack of clear communication during my recent visits. I first came on Monday, December 22, and waited about an hour and a half due to a very long line. When I asked for information, I was told this was normal and that the office would be open on Wednesday. I returned on Wednesday and found everything closed. When I came back again today and mentioned this, I was told it had been open on Wednesday the 23rd, not the 24th—however, Wednesday was the 24th. Clearer and more accurate information would have been very helpful. Additionally, rules were enforced inconsistently regarding drinks: I was allowed to bring one in on a previous visit, but today I was told to finish it outside despite the cold weather. Once you get through the line, the process itself is not bad, but better communication and consistency would greatly improve the experience. The lady at the kiosk giving the certificates was very nice, she made the experience better, overall very quick process.

I’m not sure how a government office is open less than 40 hours a week but somehow this office swings it. First of all. They don’t allow any walk ins on a Friday, like at all. So don’t even plan to go on a Friday anytime of day. Secondly, they have an option to order online and pick up in person. It says this typically takes 2 hours. That is incorrect. I’m not even sure how I’d recommend to hack this process to make it remotely convenient.
