Completely dishonest to the core. Asked for copies of the Oaths of Office for the County Sheriff, DA, and Supervisors. Wouldn't give them up because they said they had to research whether oaths of office were public docs. Said would call when they found out. Never called. I went back and asked why; and they told me, "because you came back in our office later that day and said, nevermind, I don't want them anymore". Criminals masquerading as government employees work for Chuck Storey, who uses gov money to file frivolous suits in support of Christian values, but he employs lying weasels.

I cant believe there is a county agency ran this poorly. I'm on disability and saved 3 months to get money for notarized paperwork and the 28 dollars they ask for. I have problems writing and I guess the address on inside wasnt easily read. Instead of checking it with address on OUTSIDE of letter or keeping till I called they sent to wrong address and now want me REPAY everything before they will send my birth certificate. I have called the head of dept so I cant get help. The management is no help because most problems caused by the management

Tried to call to receive information regarding the marriage license. The lady was rude af. Tone matters. "Hi, I was wondering if you were accepting any appointments for the marriage license?" "You're calling the imperial county clerk recorder" .... "Yes, I get transfered here when I call the I.C Ad........" "...You have to come in and pay for the license. Before you schedule an appointment." "Um okay" "Click" You never know what somebody is going through. Kindness doesn't cost.

I just read the Reviews and They are Soooo Right! Ladt week when i called the 1st person a lady a spoke to definitely lacks customer service skills. I think shes been there too long already. But the 2nd lady who answerex when i called agaon a cpl hrs later for another question was awesome. I appreciated her detailed answers. Today 5/14/25 ive called 5 times already. Automated service picked up 3 times 2nd time I was hold fkr 10 mins n no answer. So I hung up. I called again and someone ended the call. Its almost hilarious who's ever on the fone lines and obviously are super unhappy or something. Hope they feel better or find happiness soon. Sending Love!
