As a future healthcare student I really feel that the care part of healthcare was missing. I waited about 2 hours to see Doctor Witni Balthazar. I had notes about my symptoms and other stuff that I wanted to go over with him but he rushed through everything. He told me he could only do one thing at a time which I understood but he didn’t take the time to sit and listen to my concerns. Other than that it was an ok visit, the ladies in the Lab department are nice and were able to get to my veins that are hard to reach. Overall, poor interpersonal skills justifies my experience at this establishment to be a two star rating.

Very happy with the care I am receiving through Dr Balthazar and the entire staff. Unable to work now and have no insurance they helped me get approved through the We Care program. They were as excited as I am. I am now getting much needed treatment.

Had the pleasure of speaking with Heather Waters as I had permit issues unfortunately due to my new drain field. She took the time to explain exactly what was going on. Also explained what needed to be done. Extremely happy with the customer service provided and grateful for all her time and help! Thank you again!

AVOID at all costs!!!! This place has the most rude incompetent employees I’ve ever seen at a health department. The building is old and run down. Everyone that works there looks so unhappy and miserable and treats you like you’re bothering them. The only nice person that was happy and nice to me was a young lady named Jenny who helped me find where I needed to go to get my vaccine and explained the vaccine process to me well. Everyone else was just plain rude and unhappy. Definitely will get my second vaccine someplace else. Avoid if you can!

I promise you I wish I could give this health department no stars. I went to this health department to receive a sample container so I can take samples of my water to get it tested for lead. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a gentleman named Travis, whom I spoke to on the phone prior to me arriving about my current situation with my son testing positive for lead. In mid conversation, Travis brought this older fossil like caucasian male over to speak to me I can’t quite remember his name because he was so incompetent and very condescending towards me I was flabbergasted and disgusted, For example, he kept referring to my two-year-old toddler who is black has a little rascal. Also he tried to tell me that my toddler whom he’s never met before goes outside and picks up dirt and eats it. I’ve never felt so disrespected in my life. Also, he kept asking me if I’m understanding what he’s saying repeatedly as if he was speaking another language Which, by the way I speak FOUR languages. I just don’t understand who is hiring these professionals! there are no forms of professionalism in this department!
