The worst customer service from the front desk clerk, I have ever experienced! We just moved back home after being gone with the military ! And she has treated me like absolute trash! She has a rude mouth and acts as if your wasting her time! I will NEVER COME BACK HERE! And if your smart YOU WOULDNT EITHER!

Was told to arrive for my appointment ten minutes early due to asking before appointment was made could be be seen by 3:00 appointment was at 145 . Was told it takes an hour. Which 2-3 an hour we arrived at 1:32 as asked it 239 still not taken back when asking front desk staff If we were going to be seen soon. 245 taken back and hour in WAITING room. (When arrival there was a couple in front whos insurance the clerk could not figure. Out how much to charge but she had a new appointment for tomorrow and then out the door by 215 so no excuse) we and them were the ONLY TWO PEOPLE THE WHOLE TIME AT THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT. I GET ITS GOVERNMENT RAN AND FUNDED BUT . I DIDNT. Know THIS IS HOW. OUR JACKSON COOUNTY DID BUSINESS.

I took my 5 and 2 year old for their vaccinations today. We don't have insurance and this was the most affordable option. Haven't been to a Health Dept before and was blown away with how everyone went above and beyond. The front desk women was so helpful and the Nurse and her 'crew' were fantastic as well. Really appreciate them all. A screaming toddler and a nervous mom are not so easy. Lol. But they were great with all of us. ;)

Brought a young lady here for a Wic appointment scheduled 3 weeks in advance. Got there for the appointment, filled out a booklet of paperwork, and then advised the nutritionist not there. Next appointment weeks away. They even called to confirm. I gave two stars because the lady did assist us in getting another appointment. However, it was two weeks away.

My first time calling the Jackson County Health Department and it was an absolute pleasant experience. The lady I spoke with was so kind and gracious and personable. She went above and beyond to answer all of my questions with such warmth and care. It was very refreshing! I feel really, really good about bringing my daughter here.
