Years ago going to these places was a terrible experience. Here they combined DL services and all the other county clerk services. One stop shop for sure. They are all quick and kind, I dont dread going anymore and its a an easy task. The new one in Morristown is good too.

I went to apply for my Real ID today at the main office. I was missing one piece of information that I didn't realize I needed nor did I have it. The lady took the time to look it up and print off a copy. Everyone I dealt with was very helpful and pleasant. I can honestly say I've never had an unpleasant encounter with either the Dandridge or Jefferson City offices.

I had an outstanding experience getting several licenses renewed. I wasn't optimistic as I arrived a few minutes before they closed. I was gratefully surprised when they agreed to stay late and help me. They were courteous, friendly, patient, and understanding.

If you’re any other shade of skin color than white, be prepared to be looked at like you’re committing a crime. Especially by the older/oldest lady with blonde short hair and a red face. Never knew people’s energy could be so negative and destructive till I walked into this place.

My wife and I moved from Kentucky to New Market recently. With my company and multiple children we have several vehicles & trailers registered. The people at the satellite office in Jefferson City have been the absolute most helpful, polite, and kind people I have ever dealt with. Namely Glen and Lauren who both have gone out of their way a few times helping us get everything registered. Even a year after we moved, KY was trying to collect property tax and Lauren went out of her way again to help me out. To be this kind and polite at a DMV is incredible and almost unbelievable. THIS is the reason TN is the place to move to. Southern hospitality is alive and well in Jefferson County!!! Thank you again for all your help.
