As I waited in line today to get the the "REAl ID" I watched the lady behind the desk be so rude and hateful to everyone in front of my including myself. If you are that unhappy with your career then leave bc you're hateful to the customers & thank you so much for denying me after letting me stand there and wait 20 minutes while you finish up the people that were in front of me instead of telling me you were not going to give me a new ID due to me having my mom's maiden name on my first birth certificate due to my dad not being there when I was born and then couple days my mom let my dad sign my birth certificate so I could have his last name which shows on the second birth certificate that a judge had marked out my and typed my dad's last name on the second birth certificate. I had both birth certificates and she still denied me for what reason I don't know. I was never rude nor do I even know the lady but the fact that she let me stand there 20 minutes and then denied me and then told me to go to Morristown and see if they would do it just really irked me the wrong way and I'm not the type to ever leave Google reviews. But I can promise you one thing I will never ever step back into that courthouse when it comes to driver license just so I don't have to deal with you because you are one very rude individual.

Went to driver services. They have a big note to let me know they don't handle new out of state license...but didn't suggest the next closest place that would. Ask an officer and he suggested Greenville.

I've lived in 5 states in my entire life. I have never dealt with a more rude, disorganized, misinformed group of people. I don't know who's running this place but its definitely not designed to help you.

I went to renew my license. Twice. First time they told me I need my birth certificate so I had to go 700 miles to get a new one.then come back to get my license renewed to be told now I need my marriage license. I haven't seen or heard from that man in 10 years . So I called and asked if they could fax it. That wasn't good enough it needed a seal..so now I have to wait to get that in the mail..I never had this problem in Knoxville when I moved to TN. Cocke county is absolutely ridiculous. Soon as I get that paper I'm going file for divorce and start all over again.
