They should post some where besides the front door that the health department hasn't been at this location for years. Everywhere online still lists this location. No one answered the phone when I called multiple times. The location is actually 25 minutes away. A huge waste of time.

Awful, no help, Someone illegally changed my sister's name in the birth book (log) with no initials, no reason, no explanation AT ALL and when we showed proof of what her name as always been for 54 years with the state and federal government they refused to change it back! The state and federal entities have already said the mistake needs to be corrected at the county level. And they were not notified of a change. Laporte county said they change it on their records but they don't call or notify the person or the birth parents. Just ridiculous, doesn't add up and crazy unprofessional!!!!! #Lawsuitabouttohappen!
