I went to them because my last partner got Chlamydia. And I was so desperate I had to set up an appointment. They did HIV and STD exams on me. They gave me Azithromycin until they test the Chlamydia and Gonorrhea swab. Moments when I called, they said that I was clean. But I didn't believe them. So I asked the nurse how that was possible. And she said I would of gave it to him if it went down his throat during oral sex. But the lucky part was. I don't have an STD. THANK YOU SO MUCH AND GOD BLESS YOU LINN COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH CLINIC!!!

Had an appointment at 1pm to get a vaccination and didn't get seen until 2. Waited an hour for everyone in there to just gossip the whole time instead of doing their jobs. Would give zero stars but it wasn't an option. Definitely will do everything I can to avoid going back.

I went here for my free hepatitis C screening (now recommended for "baby boomers"). I had never been here before, and it helped remind me what an important service to the community the county health dept clinic is. The staff was helpful and courteous. The nurse took my vital signs which I felt was above and beyond what my visit was for, so appreciated that. She answered other, unrelated general questions I had and did not make me feel rushed. Very professional. They offer lots of information in the form of brochures, etc., so would recommend anyone stopping in just to see your "tax dollars at work." I appreciated the business size cards they have available at the reception desk that contained info on shelters, free medical help, emergency hotlines, free hot meals in the area: I have been stopped before when someone was asking about such info, and now I can at least offer accurate information other than "I'm not sure."

I have been trying to call Linn County Public Health numerous times and just get a recording that says, “Sorry I didn’t get that; please try again.” Well, I tried again, and again and again, and got the same message every time. They should have an option to leave a message or a call back time.

Some of the kindest, most helpful office and nursing staff I’ve ever experienced.
