Very rude, prone to lying, and PURPOSEFULLY makes things very difficult for people. Why on earth should there be different rules per Iowa county seat? Shouldn't all vehicle registration rules be universal in Iowa? Glad I no longer live it this county. The fastest way to make me disrespectful is to lie to me.

I wrote a letter to the court asking about an old case and received no response. I know they received my letter as the spelling of my name had been corrected, which I had mentioned in the letter. I had written to Linn County Courthouse with a similar request and I received a letter back the same week. I waited over a month to call Benton County Courthouse and see why I had heard nothing back and was told that they received my request and the answer was no. It would have been nice to receive a letter back.

Extremely rude. Will not help at all. Cannot do their job at all.. Repeatedly paying a fine that was taken care of years ago but it's not in their system but they have it on paper. So they don't care they just want more money. Makes you wonder where that money went to huh. They are constantly messing up anything they touch, because I have to go in and take care of something else now again too. That was taken care of years ago. I am turning them in to the AG office. Something is not right and people should not have to go through this. So a warning to all you people who deal with them keep your receipts 15 to 20 years later trust me.
