I went to the court house specifically the register of deeds office to renew my passport thinking that was the best idea and thinking I could trust them to ensure everything was done correctly, it was the opposite. The lady helping me was Mrs.Kelly, although she was a nice lady she had given me false information potentially ruining my trip that has been planned for almost a year. I was told I did not need to send in my damaged passport as it was not necessary, thinking she knew what she was talking about I took her word which was the worst mistake. My application process is now delayed and there is absolutely nothing I can do about it. I’m not one to write a review but this isn’t a little mistake or something I can fix, people who are handling the passport application process should be properly educated. If you are dealing with passports you should be TRAINED to deal with passports. I have already called to let them know what I’ve been told and hoping this won’t happen to anyone else.
