My first time at Burgess via 🚑 for chest pain. The staff was amazing. They got slammed about the same time but someone was always checking in on me and making sure I was up to speed on a plan. I was an anxious mess but they never judged me and kept my husband in the loop with everything. I ended up being transported out to Council Bluffs but they did everything in their power to make sure I was comfortable and felt as safe as possible. Hands down the best care I've ever received from an ED staff. Thank you ❤️

Onawa location has constantly mistreated, misdiagnosed and gaslit me. They will push random meds to ignore symptoms instead of trying to cure the cause of those symptoms. They are lacking knowledge on conditions I deal with and will tell me they know more because of their degree. They dismiss what I have to say and record it as anxiety or period problems. They have refused me my medical records or data more than once. I’m never taken serious and they care more about making money and keeping people sick than helping them get better.

All of the staff at Burgess Health Center were outstanding with their patient care. They took great care of me from the moment I walked in the door. They addressed my concerns and gave a very thorough examination. They treated me with the kind of care that one would feel from a high end spa.
