You claim to stand for fairness and justice, yet you are unwilling to spend the time to carefully examine the cases before you. Instead, so many wrongful and unjust decisions are made! In this case, it is clearly a situation where a husband abused his wife, leaving her with no ability to defend herself. Yet in court, the husband wept and claimed that he was the one being threatened, alleging that his wife held a knife to his neck. There is no evidence, no witnesses—only his insistence that the minor child is a witness, knowing full well that the court would not call the child to testify! And you still chose to accept his statements? You granted him everything he asked for in divorce. This system rewards those who lie, while punishing honest victims. Can you truly say this sits well with your conscience? To live in Montgomery County under such a system is deeply disheartening. So sad!
