Me and my husband got married there in July. We were told when we returned home to send our license back and we would get mailed the certificates. It has been over two months and nothing. Everytime I call they are unable to tell me anything. The first time I called I spoke to someone who was extremely rude. The second time the lady I talked to was super sweet, but still couldnt give me much information. I keep getting "Oh it'll be another month or so"... I get being short staffed, but that is a long time to wait for a marriage license. I can't even find out if they actually received the paperwork I mailed... Frustrating. I sent an email as well and was told they couldn't tell me if they received it and it would be another month and if I want I can get it expedited for more money than I have already paid, but they can't even tell me if they for sure have it!

I’m officiating a wedding for the first time soon and the woman who answered the phone after a 30 minute wait acted like it was a major inconvenience that I ask her about state marriage requirements.
