The people working here are rude and obnoxious. My wife and I came in to get our daughters birth certificate and I was made to go out into the hallway because according to the rude person working she didn’t want a “bunch “ of people at here counter. There was just the 2 of us. Muskegon County needs to do something about their level of service. They have signs posted that they will not tolerate rude customers however customers have to tolerate rude employees.

Huge shout out to the Muskegon County Clerk’s Office—especially Andrea! I came in needing help renewing my notary, and to be honest, my ducks weren’t exactly in a row. It was a stressful moment, but Andrea went above and beyond to guide me through the process with patience and kindness. Government offices can often feel overwhelming and anxiety-inducing, but the way Andrea—and the rest of the staff—took the time to help me, even during their busy day, truly meant the world. I can’t thank them enough. Grateful isn’t a strong enough word!

Went to get a copy of a birth certificate, was super rude and no help . Was told to go online to request it she wasn’t willing to help. Older lady with a butch cut hair.
