Nassau County Health Department gets five gold stars for their efficient distribution of the Covid vaccine. From registering on line with Eventbrite...... A system already in place to handle ticket sales.... to the actual site and set up of administration of the vaccine. A well run operation! Thank you very much... My friends and relatives in other FL counties are still trying to find out where and how to get in line. You are Amazing Nassau County Health Dept. Bravo!!!

Went today to get my new born birth certificate; the hours shown online stated that they closed at 4:30pm. Showed up at 3:59, there were employees there but the doors were locked.

The Nassau County Health Department offices are totally WORTHLESS!!! My father (100, WWII survivor Marine Corp) passed away almost a week ago and I've been trying to get a DEATH CERTIFICATE for him so that I can get the ball rolling for his Arlington funeral services ASAP. I've been calling all of the 3 offices for 90 long minutes without an ANSWER at the Fernandina Beach office. I've talked to Stephanie (she's very nice) like 3 times now in all these calls and she explained that I must deal with that office for my request. I've tried 5 different phone numbers and every extension available and NOT 0NE EMPLOYEE WILL ANSWER THE PHONE THERE. I can't do ANYTHING until I receive this from them. Shame on you for such POOR service at such a small branch office in a small town and the pandemic is over.

I was a little concerned after reading reviews. I made sure to have all my paperwork to get my son’s birth certificate….and I was very delayed having waited 6 years after his adoption. We never needed it until needing passports! I was greeted cheerfully both over the phone a s when I walked in to the small reception area. There was a glitch with his documents online; however, she dug deep and researched quickly and effectively resolving in minutes. I was shocked to have several copies of birth certificate in my hand in less than 5 minutes from walking through the door! I ended up staying another 5 or 10 just complimenting the and then speaking with the other nice lady they were helping.
