I visited from Arkansas because I was born in Missouri, and I needed my birth certificate. And everyone was really nice and very helpful! It was great to go in and not see grumpy, unhappy workers.

Ok, I read the other reviews and thought this is going to be difficult when I have to use their services. Man, was I wrong. LeeAnn(wish I knew the correct spelling) answered the phone and couldn't have been more polite and professional. She even helped me expedite something that was normally going to take longer had we let things run their natural course. She offered to speed the process up for me by having someone else reach out to me from their office to get the ball rolling. I needed paperwork to give my employer and she made it happen. Thanks.

My only interaction with the Newton County Health Department for the past 3 years has been for a flu vaccination. The lady at the front desk each time was very pleasant and professional. I have always been very uncomfortable just thinking about getting a shot. The nurse each time I visited for the flu vaccination was very proficient and each time it was the best (least traumatic) injection I've ever received!
