Well lets start by saying i came in here monday , we got turned away the lady said the nurses were backed up. 330 they didnt close til 5 and came in here today and the first thing she says is a 2 hour wait, this is ridiculous, so really i have no choice but to sit here cause my child has to have her contraceptive, now they are turning people away cause the nurses are backed up again,, they dont close til 7 on Tuesdays and its 430 , this is very bad business,, and so ridiculous. Something needs to be done about this more staff or something, or maybe they just need to quit talking so they can see people.😡

I usually have had a great experience here. Nurse Angie is always very nice and really cares about my concerns. My only problem with this department is the front desk help. The lady usually upfront never looks me in my eye and almost always has an attitude and is unable to completely my requests when necessary. Just make sure you focus on the nurse and not the receptionist.

The only time I've ever been treated with some respect here is when I got my birth control in. I don't know her name but if I did, she'd be the only highlight to this review. (worthy mention, nurse grant is very nice as well). This place time and time again is rude, disrespectful, and has an attitude towards EVERYONE that walks in the door. I don't know who's not communicating with who but it shows that there's absolutely zero communication here. The front office lady, Becky especially, told me I didn't have an appointment when I know for a fact I did, made me leave, then called me five minutes later to come back. The front office lady, Becky, is also the absolute rudest person I've ever met in a medical facility. She does not care about you or even why you're there. You show up, you're a bother to her. She doesn't want to do her job with kindness. There's also been times when I've been there and she's asked me if I was even a patient there to even be talking to her... I will never be returning to this location for anything ever. If I could give it zero stars I would. They make you wait way past your appointment time as well. You are better off going to a whole different health department. Save yourself the trouble and the trip to this one.

Always a good time with the lady who has pretty brown hair, blue eyes, I think Ms. Bieber? Anyways, she always treats me well and I got to meet her work buddy nurse Jennifer! Everyone there makes your time go smoothly, as fast as they can, but they still LISTEN TO YOU. I love that! Been going here for my family planning services since I was 18! Hope you win your contest 😉 xoxo the “not so famous” Catherine Miller Btw BECKY is and has always been nice to me. Even if she had to turn me away because I didn’t get there at the right time, or needed an appointment for something specific, she never had “attitude”. She was assertive. There’s a difference. Don’t let these haters get you down Becky!

Dean and I elected to go to the Oconee County Health Department to get an antibody test. We got great service and pertinent information from everyone we encountered. From Becky at the front desk to Kathleen who did our intake and then the amazing nurse Lamata who took our blood for the testing. We appreciate good and caring people and we felt that we were treated with dignity and respect. Thank you to you all.
