BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!! My husband and I went in to get married last year after two other counties were too problematic. Hands down nicest lady ( especially in a government office) personally helped and walked us through everything. She was so nice. Very very easy process from start to finish and the next day we went back for our license and there she was again SOOOO excited to see us and congratulate us. So helpful, NOT CONFUSING, and kind! My now husband and I got married at the Onslow County Court House. The process was so much easier than other counties! Don't even try to get married in Craven County. It's a very particular, and difficult process. From going to the register of deeds office, to the marriage with the magistrate, it was shockingly easy and simple in Jacksonville! They were actually happy for us, and I love the little details of the special folder for the marriage certificate. Very thoughtful. Also, I've had questions for the name change process since our marriage, and they've been very helpful and kind giving the information that I needed! Melissa and Sally (I think) were awesome. 10/10 recommend!
