    Came here for birth certificate and it was a fast breeze, i went in at 3:30pm and was out by 3:35pm, (it closes at 4pm) it takes 7 days for them to get it in system after birth. So it was great, fast and very quick to obtain birth certificate of my son.

    I got copies of birth certificates here and that process was relatively quick and fine. Parking was a pain but not terrible. Then I had a question about processing a name change and Real ID - and the woman who stepped in to answer was condescending, rude, and unhelpful. I get it. Some days you just don’t feel like working. But if you’re going to have a job working with the public, you should at least try to answer questions and help. I feel sorry for her at the end of the day. But definitely won’t be back at this location.

    I cannot obtain the PDF needed to request my birth certificate as it does not display even after accepting the terms of agreement. Hopefully the San Bernardino County version will work so I can get it notarized and mailed in.

    Really appreciate the folks at this office. We live far away and applied for a Burial at Sea permit as my father‘s last wish was his ashes to be scattered in the Pacific. The website instructions were clear, but I still messed up and the lady who helped make sure I got my documents back promptly with a clear explanation so I could reapply right away. We had already arranged the boat and the date was coming fast. When I called to make sure I was doing it right she was very helpful. When I arrived at the office the day before the sailing two other folks were also very quick and helpful. And the fee was low. The attitude in the office seemed relaxed and business like. A refreshing change from some other government offices. Sometimes people are going through rough times and/or sadness and it really helps to make at least one process easier.
