Went in at 8AM on a Tuesday to get a certified copy of my birth certificate and was out in about 15 minutes. The check in process was quick and easy and I was helped within a few minutes. It was simple and efficient. They suggest filling out the online application for records as that speeds things up a bit; however, they also have many computers there to fill out the application.

Love the new place, and I'm sure it will be much better after all the nearby construction are done. Parking used to be a challenge, when I used their Ross street address as destination. I was like where is the parking? This time I used the public parking garage on Santa Ana street from Google map is much easier. The white building was right cross of the street on the left hand side. Basically, you are walking into the office from the back of the building through the "delivery " zone. I've been there twice, and seems fine for us to walk around the area. Grab a ticket when you drive through, the charges are $1 per 15 mins, up to $20. Seems expensive, but only took me 20 mins to finish recording a document which includes walking to/from my car. Sweet! The new place is clean friendly, convenient, and comfortable and have public restrictions , drinking fountain on your right when you walk in. I do not need an appointment for recording records, but never knew the fee was a killer $88 . LOL. Consider the time I've been saved, it's worth it. Keep up the good work, thank you.

I had a fantastic experience at the Orange County Clerk-Recorder's Office on 601 N. Ross Street. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and efficient. I visited to record a property document, and the process was seamless—clear instructions, minimal wait time, and a well-organized office. The team answered all my questions patiently and made sure everything was handled correctly. I also appreciated the clean and comfortable waiting area. Highly recommend their services for anyone needing vital records or property recordings!
