    PSA, if you are having work done or are providing work in this village....DO NOT Provide a paper receipt unless it has a company letterhead on it. That means...you can submit a word document without any personalization or signature...might as well pretend you hired someone from their list instead of actually doing so. This isn't documented anywhere for public reference, nor could it be provided from internal documentation for the department to reference. According to the building department "this is something everyone should know". So instead of letting others go through this miserable process with the garbage "contractors" on the village list I thought id share. Give yourself a good 4 months to go through the inspection process, and set aside at least $5,000 to be safe.
