On 9/30/21 I've called 30+ times and left a message with no return call. I've called every number listed and no one answered, I figured maybe they were busy so I called back still NO answer. My son has also called numerous times and left a message and NO answer. Is there a different number we should be calling to reach someone since it states open until 4:30 pm yet no one answers?!

This is directed more towards the Recorder's office that I sincerely hope gets a turnover in staff. Having worked with probably 100+ recorders offices across MN, WI, SD and a few other states I can definitely say Pine County has the WORST customer service and still uses an archaic system where most other counties have joined the 21st century getting Laredo or RecordEase that is much more user friendly and easier to find documents. First, January 2022 I stop by and I am NOT allowed to do ANY research due to Covid restrictions. Granted Hennepin, Ramsey, Washington, Chisago, Dakota, etc are ALL open at this time, if anything may have to check in and wear a mask. The gal flippantly says "most people just go online." Ok, fine. The next week I go online and I can't find anything on how to set up an account nor costs associated with it. God FORBID they list any email address to reach out to anyone, even a generic info email. So I call their number. No answer. I call several other times through April at varying times. NO ANSWER. I finally leave a message repeating my cell phone number TWICE. As of 9/20/22 no one has still contacted me. Ironically I try calling today and get a busy signal. I go on their website and wouldn't you know, they are experiencing a phone outage. It is astounding to me that they recently spent so much money on a new admin building, furniture, etc yet their technology seems to be from 1997 and their customer service is the worse I have ever seen, probably only slightly better than the IRS.

I would like to thank the crabby lady in treasurer window for rolling her eyes and rudely walking away giving me mumbling directions “down the hall to the left” sorry that you have to to do more work for the tax payers and sorry that they our using the nice Government building payed for by taxpayers to now house the Health and Family services. Don’t serve the public if you hate yourself and people. You made me feel very comfortable coming into ask for help for food food my 15yo son and I. I work full-time and support us but needed to swallow pride and ask for help. You helped this experience suck more.

I just got off the phone with the Pine County Assessor's Office - and I have to admit - I was a little disappointed when I had to leave a message for the Assessor. However, I then called the number left on her outgoing message and got a hold of Jackie Ness in the Assessors office and she was outstanding!! She was professional, helpful and knew her stuff. She helped me with everything she could and then assured me that if there was any other information needed - someone would be calling me back. And, I DID get a call back from Lori and Troy - and they went above and beyond to answer all my questions and get me the information that I was searching for - which was much appreciated. To me - that is A-1 customer service and it should be recognized as such. Thank you, Jackie, Lori and Troy!! Keep up the exceptional work!!

Called this morning for information on how to proceed to get my children back home, got basically screamed at by Bonnie about how I will not be able to go through court and not win on seeing them because I WAS CRYING? I won't be able to have my kids because I was crying because of trauma from what this county has done the 4 past years on doing this and me fighting to get information and getting basically screamed and put down when that is not even close to what I was asking for, got no numbers to proceed what I need to do, just got screamed at by a person who called me mentally ill because I'm a human with human feelings
