Linda Huggins refuses to complete estate searches for individuals that reside hours and states away from the courthouse. She is rude and unprofessional and appears to have become a little too comfortable at the taxpayer's expense. It is her DUTY to provide records to the public, regardless of their ability to visit the courthouse or not, and her dismissive attitude as "doing someone else's work" is appalling and simply lazy. I work with courthouses across the country and the state and she not only refuses to do what every courthouse I have dealt with is happy to assist with, she lacks even the basic SOP to ensure requests can be completed through a formal request process. Not only is she not assisting the public, lacking a formal request process for out of state family members, genealogists and attorney's is a loss of revenue stream for the county/state. Do better.
