Typical state provided (socialist) medicine... fully equipped with grinding bureaucratic processes, inefficiencies, poorly trained technicians, and "commissioned" egos serving the military machine and themselves before the patient. Sadly... it's still better health care than the majority of Americans receive. Perfectly effective if you stay relatively healthy... but, advanced diagnostics always seem to come reluctantly... if at all.

You have to jump through so many loop holes to get covid tested if you’re a spouse, or retired. Urgent Care had not treated me, nor could they get me in, so I turned my primary care to be tested(family health on base), so if I am positive my husband and everyone else who’s normally in contact with me can be informed. I had to tell them I had an ear ache to get into a room to then tell a nurse I had other symptoms so they would test me. While I was in the waiting room the lady upfront turned away a retired personal for testing after she informed this lady her husband was positive. Why is it so hard to be tested by our primary care? Also, why are people being turned away for testing???

Pharmacy has always been wonderful and the appointment line people are always bright and friendly. However getting lab work results and returning calls to the nurses is a complete nightmare. They give you a call back number and it's just the freaking appointment line number! So you have to wait and wait for all the announcements and prompts just to find out that the nurse is busy and will call you back thus repeating the process. Obviously my labs can't be too important since it took a week to call me about them. A hassle and a headache.

Ok... this is not a rave review about the base clinic. This is a rave review about Roscoe, the best person I've ever spoken to over the phone. He is always so pleasant, kind, and prompt. If he says he'll do something, you can rest assured it will be done. I've been an ADSM/Retiree for 24 years and have dealt with clinics all over the country...hell, I worked at one but Roscoe is without a doubt the best patient care coordinator I've ever encountered. Keep up the good work!

Womens health, shocking service that is almost negligent. If you value your life, go to emergency. Doctor only turns up when she feels like it and doesn’t arrange cover which means the back log for appointments is over a month (that’s if she decides to attend). Had appointment rearranged twice so won’t be seen for over 2 months since the first appointment when she was a no show. Praying it’s not sinister. They just don’t give a damn about the patients or their health.
