First off I want to thank Lou Kreider, sorry if I misspelled name, for the excellent job they have done getting the vaccine into the arms of the people. I heard from a friend that she got her vaccine at public health, that evening Lou said something about the online sign up. I filled out the very easy form on January 12 and was called to come in on January 25 to receive vaccine. Watching the news of how messed up other areas are, I want people to know how blessed that we have people working for us. Thank you so much. Ida jones

Lou and the staff at the Health Department have been wonderful to work with during my time here in Wichita Falls. Extremely helpful when we've had questions, quick to respond and always have suggestions when I'm stuck on a problem and looking for some advice on how to move forward safely with events. I appreciate how they have handled the Covid-19 crisis and kept everyone informed.

I went to get birth certificates for my kids. First it took ABSOLUTELY forever to get them and I was the only one in there… took around 30 minutes or more. I have had to get birth certificates before and it had NEVER taken that long. Then they didn’t give my license back. Yes I should have checked, but by that time I was just ready to go. Then when I got all the way home all the way across town, I called. “Oh yes we have it, we were waiting to call”. Waiting for what? You could have called as soon as you noticed and saved me a trip. They were closing in 20 minutes on top of that.. I work 2 jobs and I can’t just go whatever day I want to pick up MY stuff that they so conveniently didn’t give back. It’s just common courtesy honestly and they lacked entirely

I want to compliment the Wichita County Health Department on their handling of the Covid vaccinations. I didn't know what to expect after all that I've seen on the news in some cities showing the long lines & people unable to get an appointment. I received my first shot yesterday. Starting with the phone call I received assigning me my appointments to my actual visit to get the vaccine I found everyone very professional, friendly and helpful. It was well organized, allowing for a smooth operation. You made it a pleasant and reassuring experience. Thank you all for your dedication and hard work.

The toilet is backed at the house that I am renting. I’ve tried to contact the landlord and the maintenance man. They both refuse to talk to me. Inside the house itself, smells like a sewer plant. I am unable to take a shower, bath, wash my clothes, unable to use the kitchen and bathroom sink. I feel that it is a Health Hazard.
