I got a speeding ticket on the interstate while driving through Scott County. I contacted the court to find out about taking the online NSC Defensive Driving Course to get out of having the ticket effect my driving record. It took a few times calling to get a person on the line, apparently they close for lunch but there is no message telling you that. The woman I spoke with was very nice and gave me the contact number for taking the course. When I completed it and passed I called to the court to see what to do next. The same lady answered and was nice and polite. She told me what to mail and where. It still cost me the same amount in court costs but at least it won't be on my record and increase my insurance costs. So if you need to do this course just don't call them at lunchtime.
