Been trying to get my newborn in to see the nutritionist for a few weeks now and something always happens to where I can't. The first time I came it was on a Friday and the place was closed yet the door says monday through friday. Then the next week I came on a Tuesday at 8:45 and again the door was locked and lights were off. Then I also see a sign on the door that says nutritionist is only available from 9 to 4 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. So yesterday which was Thursday and take in mind I can only get a ride up there only sometimes bc my husband works and we share a car but I came up there at ten after 11 and the lady at the window would not let the nutritionist see me. She said I had to come from 9 to 11 or 1 to 3 and they don't take lunch till 12. So I'm ten minutes past 11 and the waiting room has no one not a soul in it and she tells me that they are too busy and I told her I been trying to get here for weeks now and my husband goes to work at 1 today please and she said no.I'm not too happy at this point as the only formula I have for my new baby is hurting him so I need a ddifferent kind for him.

I believe simpson county health department is the only one of its kind that never answers phone calls , forget about making an appointment , or anything of that matter !!!! And where else do they only open on Tuesdays???? ONLY IN MENDENHALL MS
