0 stars. Not even for the health department side but for the WIC. I don’t know her name but the WOMAN they have up there is rude unprofessional doesn’t do her job and always hanging up on people, saying they need to call back and never answers. Literally trash. Need to have a change of staff. Must be nice to get paid to not do your job and give low in come parents even more of a hard time. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Debbie Thomas the lactation lady is the ONLY one who does her job never is rude or unprofessional. It’s sad really

It's recently gotten a bit better (the WIC area, I've never had to use the health department so no comment). I can honestly say it's been easier dealing with them and the app we use for our WIC has been working better. The lady Ive been talking to at the front (I wish I could remember her name) has been very sweet and kind especially to my girls when we come in for our appointments.

I drove 30 mins to go get my babies formula and when I walked in the lady at the glass windows in the wic office acted like she didn’t wanna be there she barley said anything and I had to yell for her to hear me. She was so rude and when we went to measure and weigh my baby she let the door close in my face. She couldn’t even hold the door she saw a single mom holding a baby in one hand and a huge lay down stroller in the other hand. I don’t understand how these workers have no human decency..

The wic office really needs to do better. I called them this morning (after taking almost 2 hours of calling them to answer the phone) to update my benefits because I had my baby and finally out of the hospital (today is Tuesday btw) they’re closed on mondays so I couldn’t call them yesterday to inform them before I could even speak the lady told me I had to come in Friday as a walk in with all the proof of stuff (they already have everything) and then she hung up on me. Wic is supposed to be updated immediately after having a baby. This place needs to fire or retrain whoever they have working the phones because her attitude towards mothers is not the best.

I needed 2 vaccines that's all. I called prior making an appointment to ensure that they were available and for me to take off work. I called on 03/06 and asked specifically and I was advised that both shorts were available and that they had an appointment open for 03/10 at 2pm. I got there at 1:50pm on 03/10. They did not have me in the system and they advised that they do not have the shots. I explained to them that I had called this location and I was advised that the shots were 40 dollars each and that they have them in stock. They stated that they dont know who said that to me and I expressed that this is very frustrating because I called and verified before wasting my time. I stated that I was given very wrong information and showed them my call from friday. They did not offer any other solution (or seem to care at all) and told me to call a different health department. Now I understand the 2.0 stars of this place.
