After being a resident of Madison County for 12 years, I was told I couldn't get a marriage license because my fiance wasn't a MS resident. What kind of ridiculous rule is that? Residents of Madison County can only marry people who live in MS? We had to go to Hinds County to get our marriage license. Nice to see that Zack Wallace (Hinds County Circuit Clerk) is focused on serving the people. It's unfortunate that they are more willing to serve me than my own county.
